Gelatex
Gelatex produces leather-like textiles. Their products are made from gelatin produced from waste from the meat and leather industry, allowing the material to be made from bones as well and giving greater value to otherwise wasted resources. Gelatex material is environmentally friendly, chemical-free, easily scaleable, 50% cheaper than leather, almost identical in properties to leather. The technology makes it possible to use 5 times more material from one animal.
