LIFE Programme is organising a high-level platform meeting on the New European Bauhaus, featuring numerous high-profile speakers such as the Commissioner Sinkevičius, Commissioner Gabriel, Director General of DG ENV Fink Hooijer, and others. This is a hybrid event, organised on 15-17 November in Brussels and online.
The aim of the platform meeting is to showcase projects financed through LIFE and H2020 programmes which are good examples of already deployed New European Bauhaus’ realities to provide inspiration for new projects to support a wider diffusion of the New European Bauhaus values" as also mentioned in Annex 2 of the recent communication on the NEB initiative that you can find here: https://europa.eu/new-european-bauhaus/delivery_en
Apart from the LIFE and Horizon beneficiaries, speakers include journalists, experts in the fields related to the NEB from the EU institutions, as well as artists and "special guests", all in line with the culture-art-people centred approach of the NEB. The three days will focus on three specific topics where the NEB and the LIFE/Horizon meet: 15/11 - Behavioural Change, 16/11 - Urban Transformation and 17/11 - Nature Based Solutions.
We would like to use this opportunity to kindly ask you to advertise the event within your network and to help us spread the word within the Member States. Participation from the architects, urban planners, public authorities, academia, non-profit organisations and journalists, just to name a few key stakeholder groups, from the Member States is important for the success of this event.
